QA Engineer

Technologies & ideal candidate:

Experience: 4-7 years of experience in a similar position (computer systems testing)
Professional knowledge: good knowledge of testing process, basic knowledge of OOP / OOP
programming languages (JAVA for example), instrumentation (CI / CD), databases, specific
testing tools. Specific testing tools: – mandatory: Java, Cucumber, Selenium – optional: Appium
(or similar for testing on mobile devices), Azure framework

Your Day to Day

• Participate in the end-to-end non-functional testing of the platform
• Plan, write, execute, and refactor manual and automated test cases;
• Test and certify features for release;
• Conduct peer reviews for tests, test cases, automation scripts
• Conduct root-cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion
• Participate in cross-teams and internal customer feature demonstrations;
• Regression testing: a part of testing is done by tests written in Cucumber using Selenium
with Java and Spring framework, triggered from Azure DevOps, and a part manually;
• Writing automated tests with Java (Cucumber, Selenium and Rest assured);
• Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing
automation;
• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and
test results;
• Report issues to provider via bug tracking tool (Jira);
• Identify the root causes of the bugs using logs;
• Perform load and security testing.
• Scope non-functional test areas, continuously engaging with Product Owners, Delivery
Leads, Architects and Feature Engineer to ensure that all non-functional requirements are
covered and risks are adequately mitigated.
• Inspect bottlenecks in performance and work with the Architecture/Infra team to determine
any corrective actions working closely with Product Owners to prioritise the
implementation of corrective actions
• Ensure that performance testing is part of the CI/CD pipeline to ensure that no further
degradation of performance is introduced on new code changes/re-factoring
• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test
results;

What you bring to the team

• Excelent knowledge of tools such as Load Runner, Gatling, Jmeter, Acunetix
• Knowledge of OOP – Java preferre
• 4+ years’ experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (including in-house
testing frameworks
• Experience with web applications
• Experience with logs investigations
• Experience with APIs;
• Experience with mobile testing;
• Indepth experience with NFT (performance, security and resilience)
• Ability to script / code using vbscript, scala, bash
• 3+ years’ experience with NFT testing tools
• Very good communication skills and a great team player, highly motivated, self-driven and
interested in Quality Assurance
• Strong analysis and problem solving
• Test case management skills
